It is no longer a rumor that Sony is getting ready to bring out a 120GB PS3. This is thanks to a GameStop conference call which confirmed that Sony will be dropping the 80GB PS3 and replacing it with the 120GB model with a Dual Shock 3 controller packed in.
The expectation though is that since 80GB PS3 consoles are no longer in production, they will likely ship with the same price point as the 80GB PS3 within a month or so.
