Tyson Gay Runs the Fastest 100 Meters of All Time: 9.68 Secs

World champion Tyson Gay ran the fastest 100 meters of all-time to win the American Olympic trials on Sunday, a wind-assisted 9.68 seconds. The victory put Gay into his first U.S. Olympic team but the wind speed of 4.1 meters per second deprived the 25-year-old of a world record.

Jamaican Usain Bolt holds the world record of 9.72 seconds. The previous best time under any conditions was a wind-assisted 9.69 seconds by Obadele Thompson of Barbados in 1996.

Greenpeace crashes coal meeting using phony front

Posing as a pro-coal organization, activists infiltrated an industry conference yesterday. At a booth and in official conference materials the Greenpeace team promoted a fake url that redirects readers to www.coal-is-dirty.com. They also distributed asthma inhalers and business cards declaring their phony front group is a joke, as is clean coal.

The conference managers did take the precaution of adding security because of Greenpeace's reputation for confrontational, disruptive tactics, they said. The muscle was used once, to eject one Greenpeace member.

America Plunged Into the Horror of “The Deep V-Neck”

Disturbing new trend emerging among the male of the species these days: the deep V-neck T-shirt. We’re not talking about the ratty white Hanes with the yellow-stained armpits that your dad used to wear while cleaning the garage. No, this is a far more insidious epidemic, recognizable by its long, deep V, supple fabric, and retro color schemes.

“I think as recently as 15 years ago, the standard was if a guy made a lot of money he was successful, period. That's not the case anymore. Now guys are being held to the same standards that women have been held to forever. Women are now…

Jessica Bruinsma: Saved By the Bra!

And to think - so many women burned theirs. Shame, shame. Jessica saved herself where any normal man (or 1960s feminist) would have died a cold, lonely death. Three cheers to the mighty brassiere!

No word on what happened to that “friend,” but we’re glad to report Jessica has been rescued - thanks to a little bit of Yankee ingenuity. After losing herself in bad weather, she fell off a cliff and (stop…
